Studio Forty handled the re-modelling of a bathroom that had been untouched for years and bore the scars of a scheme of refurbishment conducted by the previous owners of this home in Billericay. Originally the bathroom had been two separate rooms housing a WC in one and bath and wash basin in the other.
Our simple scheme proposed the incorporation of a redundant airing cupboard into the bathroom to increase room size and enable the introduction of a four-piece bathroom suite. The client loved our proposed industrial lighting, contemporary fittings and wall and floor tiles that matched in style but differed in colours and lay pattern, thus offering contrast, as well as the CNC plywood with a melamine finish.
