Studio Forty is a design-led, architectural practice based in Essex, combining experience with fresh thinking. Our work puts people first through collaboration and discussion, whilst our consistent approach to the design process places emphasis upon understanding the brief, site history and context.
Based in Billericay, we work primarily in the Essex and London areas. We don’t limit ourselves through sector specialisation or provide off the shelf solutions, instead we offer a bespoke, tailored service to suit all prospective clients. We have experience of all project stages from feasibility through to construction, working at a variety of different scales and budgets.
We embrace the challenges posed by projects with a commitment to finding robust design solutions. As a studio, we employ our skills and various media as a means to be experimental and expressive with the design process, in search of designing and delivering crafted, responsive architecture.
Our design approach always seeks to challenge the first answer, and we take the time to create designs with narrative, integrity and clarity.
