Where previously we were led to think that the changes in the cost of your planning application fees would come into effect in April next year, it's now been confirmed that the changes will be live from 6th December 2023.
Therefore, any applications submitted online using the Planning Portal after 5pm on the 5th December will be chargeable under the new scheme, and will also not be liable to the 'free hit' for a resubmission, which is being removed under the proposed changes.
