London experience, brought back to Essex.

Studio 40 is a RIBA Chartered architecture practice based in Billericay, Essex. We combine architecture, interiors and project management, working with clients who want the standards they are used to from London applied to their projects in Essex and the surrounding area.

Before setting up Studio 40, Kieron and Hayley spent years working on some of the most demanding residential projects in London, for private estates and clients for whom quality was simply expected. Those years shaped how we think about design, detail, specification and the management of complex projects. We came back to Essex to build something the county did not have: a practice with genuine design conviction operating at that level.

Many of our clients are London professionals who have relocated to Essex or are planning to. They know what good architecture looks like, they have worked with design-led practices before, and they want the same standard applied to their home here. That is exactly who we work for.
