Studio 40 is a RIBA Chartered architecture practice based in Billericay. We combine architecture, interiors and project management, working with homeowners across Loughton and the surrounding area who want a genuinely considered approach to how they live. Not just a planning application.

Loughton sits on the western edge of Essex, bordered by Epping Forest and within easy reach of London. It is an area of significant residential quality, with a mix of substantial detached houses, established streets and a homeowner demographic that expects high standards from the people they work with. It is also a place where planning can be complex, given the proximity of the Green Belt, the Metropolitan designation of Epping Forest, and the various Conservation Areas across the town.
